Oyez, oyez, oyez. Great news. Jazz evenings restart 8.00pm Wednesday 23rd January 2019 at the Karmana Restaurant, 79 Broadmead Avenue, Northampton, NN3 2RA and then the last Wednesdays of the month through the year.

Welcoming hosts Sandeep and Shavali operate this fabulous, cosy and renowned, award winning vegetarian/vegan restaurant.

Brilliant Geoff Tooley, double bass will play the first set with me at the ironing board piano. All you blowers, strikers, plinkers, twangers, shakers, hooters and tooters are welcome to sit in on the second set so write this in your diaries and come on down.

We enjoyed some great music through 2018. Jazz nights areusually very busy on so early booking is recommended.

The Great Central Big Band, led by effervescent drummer Lee Smith, make a return appearance in the grounds of beautiful Upton House, a country house in the parish of Ratley and Upton, in Warwickshire, about 7 miles northwest of Banbury, Oxfordshire.
